Kat Von D: 24-Hour Super Brow Long-Wear Pomade

Hello my beauties! I am finally back after a bit of a much-needed hiatus. But now, I am ready to get back into the swing of things and spread the news about the latest and greatest in the beauty industry! This week, I have a product that has become one of my ride-or-die’s! It is no easy feat to get that title, but this product truly blew my mind and I have become addicted!

A month ago, I received a complimentary VoxBox from Influenster with the new Kat Von D 24-Hour Super Brow Long-Wear Pomade and brush to try out for myself.

As soon as I saw that it was a Kat Von D product, I just knew I would love it! I absolutely LOVE Kat Von D products as I find she creates products that are true staples as they do exactly what you want them to. That sounds sort of basic, right? Well, in reality, staples that deliver what you want are not always easy to find in the beauty industry. Case in point, Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner has been my all-time favourite black eyeliner as it is super easy to use, the blackest black and it: Does. Not. Move!Unfortunately, many liners do not have the staying power that the Tattoo Liner does. Funny enough, I came across this article recently that perfectly explains just how awesome the Tattoo Liner is: People Magazine: Woman’s Viral Makeup Review Claims Kat Von D Eyeliner Never Smudges – Even After a Car Accident.

Now, back to Super Brow. Let’s just say, I had high hopes for this brow pomade when I first received it. I received the pomade in the shade Walnut and a brow brush for application (Which to be honest, I didn’t know what I was more excited about – the pomade or the brush! I LOVE Kat Von D brushes!) When I first applied the pomade, I learned quickly that you need to be careful with how much product you apply on your brush. A tiny bit is all you need! Which means, this little pot of brow goodness is going to last you quite awhile! To prevent using too much product, I lightly tap my brush on the pomade to pick up the product and then try to brush any excess off on the inside of the lid of the pot. Using feather light strokes, I apply the pomade mainly to the tops of my brows to fill them in. That is it! It doesn’t take very long at all.

On the Kat Von D website, the Super Brow is described as this:

“Kat Von D stretched the boundaries of innovation to create the weightless, waterproof formula she’s always wanted but hasn’t been able to find. Saturated with as much pigment as possible, this high-pigment brow pomade delivers budge-proof, smudge-proof, sweat-proof brows that don’t come off until you want them to.”

After testing this brow product for the past few weeks, I can honestly say that Kat Von D delivered as promised! My brows do not move throughout the day. This is my brow after 10 Hours (from the time I apply my makeup in the morning until the time I get home from work):

I swear, Kat Von D can do no wrong when it comes to her beauty products! As for the price, although I received this product complimentary for testing purposes, I can attest that the price point is quite fair. The pomade runs for $23 at Sephora and considering the fact that you only need a tiny bit of product per use – you will not find the need to re-stock frequently.

There are 16 shades to choose from, including red, green, blue, purple, etc. That may sound strange to you, but makeup is art and as Kat Von D’s website states, “There are no rules in makeup, especially when it comes to your brows, so feel free to craft and color with complete creative freedom!”

Seriously, brows are still a big trend in the beauty industry and that does not appear to be changing any time soon. I have tried my fair share of brow products, and there hasn’t been a single one that has given me the results that the Super Brow has. What else can I say? I’m hooked!

Have you tried the 24-Hour Super Brow Long-Wear Pomade from Kat Von D? Let me know what you think!

That’s Y!
